BOUT BOARD | the BouT board manages the student practice association for Building Technology. The board has weekly meetings (approximately 1 hour) to keep each other up to date. There are 8 main tasks/functions to be divided (this is currently done in 5 positions, but 6 is preferred):
Chairman | leads the weekly meetings and helps other board members with their functions
Secretary | Controls the memberlists, prepares the agenda and has to take minutes
Finance | Takes care of membership payments
Sponsoring | Contact person for the sponsors
Education | Has a spot on the OC, makes surveys and is responsible for the master education events
Events | Organizes the excursions and events, such as the Bucky BBQ and the Extreme drink
Rumoer | Directs the Rumoer committee
Media | Makes posters and manages the website, FB and newsletters
Rumoer Committee | this committee works on the RUMOER, a periodical from Praktijkvereniging BouT. The magazine appears 3 times per year. Last issue was about the Built Environment & Technology (currently 3 positions)
Studytrip Committee | this committee organizes a studytrip (abroad) for BouT members. The 2014 committee has planned a trip to Berlin from November 12 till November 16 (currently 4 positions)
BT-Series Committee | this committee is working on setting up an interesting line of lectures with guest speakers; the BT-Series. The theme of the first edition is Cutting Edge Innovations (currently 2 positions)
